COLIBRIX ONE brings its acquiring to Primer, adding smart routing and fallbacks to subscription payment processing so more recurring card payments go through.

COLIBRIX ONE is shortlisted for Best Digital Solution Provider – PayTech for Global Business at the Banking Tech Awards 2026 by FinTech Futures!

Valletta, Malta — September 2026 — The G20's target of bringing cross-border payment costs to 3% by 2027 will not be met, and with no legal cap on what providers may charge, COLIBRIX ONE argues the contest for merchants is shifting from headline rates to what happens after go-live: round-the-clock access to a named human, a dedicated manager and support across the full breadth of a merchant's payment needs.

Slava Trubnikov discusses recurring payments, subscription retention and merchant control over billing in an interview with Financial IT.

Citing PYMNTS Intelligence research, the article explains that failed payments cause about half of all subscription churn, with 80% of those failures outside the subscriber's control. Svetlana Voloshyna, Payment Solutions Consultant at COLIBRIX ONE, highlights the operational upside of recurring billing over one-off sales, including upfront behavioural data, precise cash flow forecasting and consolidated settlements. The article positions COLIBRIX ONE's proactive human support, unified global card acceptance and real-time payment analytics as the infrastructure that catches and recovers failing payments before they turn into cancellations.

Authored by Slava Trubnikov, Sales Manager at COLIBRIX ONE, the article explains why legitimate payments get wrongly rejected due to over-cautious fraud rules, cross-border friction, and outdated decline logic, citing data that puts global false-decline losses on track to reach $265 billion by 2027 — far above worldwide fraud losses. Trubnikov argues the real fix is approval infrastructure, not fraud tools alone, pointing to direct acquiring, risk-based 3DS2 authentication, and network tokenisation as levers that recover lost revenue. COLIBRIX ONE is cited as an example, operating across 130+ countries with approval rates near 90%.
